The flexible edge springs back, expanding the batt against the frame studs to give a complete fill. This prevents any shifting that would occur from vibration while transporting a module from a factory to a build site. ROCKWOOL COMFORTBATT® compensates for normal variations in stud centres caused by distortion or warping. The ROCKWOOL COMFORTBOARD™ line of rigid, high density stone wool insulation boards are designed for use as continuous exterior insulation to help achieve an energy-efficient, moisture resistant, vapor permeable, high performance building envelope. All ROCKWOOL insulation products offer superior thermal and acoustical value and are non-combustible – fire resistant up to 2,150 °F – sound-absorbent, water repellent, non-corrosive and resistant to mold.
